Currently the ministry, with the help of the transition battalion chaplain, organizes and hosts five types of outings-R&R weekends, Retreats, Day Events and Rejuvenation Getaway. These events are held from September through May. Learn more about the Types of Events.

Couples Retreat – CANCELLED – REPLACED WITH ‘VOW RENEWAL’
This is a weekend where Couples receive counseling from the WTB Chaplain and guest speakers. The intent is to show couples how to identify potential problems and ways to address them. They arrive Friday afternoon and check into their hotel then meet at a local church for dinner and their first counseling session .

Couples will gather in Fredericksburg for a weekend devoted to strengthening their marriage. They will participate in a renewal of their wedding vows in a local church presided over by local pastors. Their 'wedding' will include flowers for the brides and boutonnieres for the grooms. A celebratory meal/reception will follow the ceremony. Semi formal attire
