Currently the ministry, with the help of the transition battalion chaplain, organizes and hosts five types of outings-R&R weekends, Retreats, Day Events and Rejuvenation Getaway. These events are held from September through May. Learn more about the Types of Events.

R & R in Fredericksburg

Couples/Families travel to Fredericksburg, TX on Friday for a weekend of relaxing and having fun as a family. Attendees arrive sometime after 3pm Friday and leave Sunday at their leisure. Lodging and meals are provided by Wounded Warriors at Nebo. Since this is an R&R, attendees are free to explore the town, attend the movies, tour the museum and art galleries, etc., or just hang out for the weekend. Space is limited so check with the WTB Chaplain’s office to sign up.
