Currently the ministry, with the help of the transition battalion chaplain, organizes and hosts five types of outings-R&R weekends, Retreats, Day Events and Rejuvenation Getaway. These events are held from September through May. Learn more about the Types of Events.

WTB Chaplain Ginsburg, takes a group of soldiers to Enchanted Rock to hike up or around the rock, rock climb or just enjoy the out doors. Upon arrival he leads a devotional using the environment to demonstrate God’s love and message then everyone sets out to explore the rock. Around noon they all meet and head for Fredericksburg for lunch where they share the morining’s experience and other “God Moments.” After lunch they are free to explore main street of the Nimitz Museum.
The Chaplain tries to bring a group each month except during the heat of summer.
