Currently the ministry, with the help of the transition battalion chaplain, organizes and hosts five types of outings-R&R weekends, Retreats, Day Events and Rejuvenation Getaway. These events are held from September through May. Learn more about the Types of Events.

The event is primarily for patients in treatment or transition assigned to the SRU. Attendance is limited to 15. Participants will meet in San Marcos and kayak the river. Outdoor Olympic Sports Center will provide the canoes, paddles, life jackets and any necessary instructions. Those interested in attending should contact Chaplain Hatcher at the SRU
