Currently the ministry, with the help of the transition battalion chaplain, organizes and hosts five types of outings-R&R weekends, Retreats, Day Events and Rejuvenation Getaway. These events are held from September through May. Learn more about the Types of Events.

Museum Tour

An exact date in February has not been determined for this event. As soon as there is a firm date, it will be posted.
This event is primarily for patients assigned to the SRU at Fort Sam Houston who are in treatment or transition. Attendance is limited to 20.
The SRU will provide transportation to Fredericksburg where participants will enjoy a guided tour of the Museum of the Pacific War. After the tour, lunch will be provided.

Medically retired veterans are welcome to fill out the form above to let us know you want to attend. However, active-duty personnel have priority so you will be wait listed and notified whether there is a vacant spot or cancellation.
