Currently the ministry, with the help of the transition battalion chaplain, organizes and hosts five types of outings-R&R weekends, Retreats, Day Events and Rejuvenation Getaway. These events are held from September through May. Learn more about the Types of Events.

FreeMeet at Marketplatz in Fredericksburg between 5:30 pm and 7:00 pm, April 1 for a light dinner and orientation. Then all who are interested can go to the Art Walk. The first Friday of each month is “Art Walk” in Fredericksburg. Art Galleries all over town stay open until 8 pm. Some will have guest artists in house to answer questions about their art work. Not interested?? No problem, there is always the movies or just plain relaxing.
Chaplain Ginsburg will hold an optional devotional at Marketplatz Saturday morning. Lunch and dinner are also provided. In between it’s up to you what you do.
Other things to do while in area: The National Museum of the Pacific War, Sauer/Beckman Farm and LBJ White House Tour, Fritztown Cinema, Explore Main Street, Climb Enchanted Rock.
