It was a beautiful day to be outdoors especially if you were at a gorgeous lake with new friends trying to lure “The Big One” into your boat!!  Twenty warriors left Fort Sam Houston about 5:30 a.m. to join the Fritztown Bass Club on lake LBJ for a day of fishing and fellowship. There were trophies for Biggest Bass, and 1st, 2nd & 3rd in Heavy Stringer.  However, everyone was a winner.  The club gave each of their guests a new rod and reel in addition to a ‘goodie bag’ filled with lures, tackle, etc.  Club members had their boats ready and got some really good one on one time while cruising the lake looking for that lunker.  As in past years, Boy Scout Troop 135 provided lunch.

Wounded Warriors at Nebo thank all the members of the Fritztown Bass Club, Boy Scouts and anyone else who helped make this event a success!
