It seems that COVID is taking over again hopefully temporarily.   According to the SRU Chaplain positive test are running at about 50% at Fort Sam right now.  The military has tightened restrictions on Fort Sam.  In addition, positivity rates in Gillespie and surrounding counties have spiked going from 80 – 90 positivity in November and December to 1636 on January 17.

After speaking with the Chaplain and considering the continuing rise in positive test results here, we decided the prudent thing was to cancel the January Cooking event and February’s retreat.

We will keep you posted on event changes.  In the meantime, please pray that the numbers drop as rapidly as they have spiked.
